Press release writing

Turn a company development into a clear announcement with a factual headline, a useful opening paragraph and an approved company quotation.

Start with the announcement, then the wording

A press release works best when it announces one real development. Before choosing a headline, establish what happened, who is involved, when it takes effect, why a reader should care and where the facts can be checked. That information forms the writing brief.

A writing service can organize and explain the facts you provide. It cannot supply evidence for an unverified funding amount, invent a customer quotation or authorize the use of a partner’s name. Give the writer approved source material and identify anything that is confidential or still awaiting approval.

The optional writing add-on

The catalog includes an optional human-written PR add-on for $120, selected alongside a media package or individual publications. Writing is separate from the publication scope. Confirm the final brief, included revisions and delivery schedule with the merchant.

The checkout collects your contact details first. You can provide your announcement or writing brief on the order page after payment. If you already have a finished release, you can supply your own text instead.

What to put in the writing brief

  1. The central development: describe the news in one sentence.
  2. Who and when: provide the company’s operating name, announcement date and relevant launch or availability date.
  3. Supporting facts: include product details, confirmed figures and links to documentation.
  4. An approved quotation: give the speaker’s full name, title and permission to use the quote.
  5. Company background: explain the business and identify its primary website.
  6. A media contact: specify the person or address that can answer questions about the announcement.

If a writer needs to interview someone or obtain approvals, include that in the schedule. For technical or crypto announcements, supply the public documentation and distinguish completed work from a roadmap or intention.

Review the draft before publication

Check the spelling of names, the meaning of every figure, the accuracy of dates and the destination of each link. A quotation should reflect what the named person actually approved. Avoid treating a promotional slogan as a factual headline.

The listed Global and Web3 package format is up to 400 words with one illustration, while individual publication rules can differ. Agree on the target scope before drafting so the release fits the intended format.

Prefer to write the release yourself? Use the launch, funding and partnership templates. When your text is ready, compare distribution options or Web3 packages.
